we are finally able to slow down (after all that wedding hooha) and settle into what we like to think of as our lazy summer routine. we spent the morning sleeping late, drinking iced tea on the couch, and then walking up to our local farmer’s market for goodies to grill tonight. this was nola’s first time at the market but of course, being her playful nola self, she was super comfortable sniffing out the kids and meeting new people. gracie, however, was not amused by the whole scene and was perfectly happy to hang out in her designer dog sling. (we are sick, we know this).
off to the fish market to pick up some protein for the grill…

I would totally pack Mia around like that—but @ 45# she’s a little too hefty for slinging. Gracie looks like she likes the sling—she can duck down if she needs to.
